BEHIND THE SCENES

About Us.

Ferrari Talent exists for one reason: character. Not the most obvious read in the room. Not the safest choice. The real person. Offbeat, striking, and specific in a way that casting directors remember long after the session ends.

We are small by design, and that is a deliberate choice. Every client on our roster gets direct access, genuine advocacy, and a team that is personally invested in their career. No one gets lost here. No one gets handed off. The industry has plenty of agencies moving volume. We are not that. We are selective because we have to be. The work we do for each client demands it.

Rick Ferrari

FOUNDER

Rick Ferrari's career spans four decades at the intersection of fashion, entertainment, and talent management. He trained under industry legend Zoltan Rendessey at Zoli Models in New York before joining Click Models, where he helped redefine the standard for male and female talent worldwide.

As an independent casting director, Ferrari placed talent in landmark projects for Bruce Weber, Calvin Klein, Versace, The Gap, and MTV. His casting choices launched careers now well known in film and television, and throughout the nineties, his models appeared regularly in Madonna's music videos.

As director of Prima Model Management in Los Angeles, he championed a new aesthetic in fashion and helped launch the careers of Jessica Alba, Hilary Swank, Milla Jovovich, Angie Harmon, and others. He later moved into music management at Gallin Morey Associates, working alongside Dolly Parton and Taylor Dayne, before returning to fashion and beauty campaigns representing clients including Robert Downey Jr. and Paul Walker for global endorsements.

Ferrari also played a key role in developing the Broadway musical "Head Over Heels," collaborating with Belinda Carlisle and Gwyneth Paltrow on the project.

In June 2021, Rick and his spouse, Alex Ferrari, launched Ferrari Talent, a progressive commercial talent agency built on decades of industry expertise.

Alex Ferrari

AGENCY DIRECTOR/AGENT

Alex Ferrari brings a filmmaker's eye and a storyteller's instincts to Ferrari Talent. A cinema school graduate and avid screenwriter, Alex developed his production chops working as a line producer on Dirty, an independent feature starring Chaz Bono and Paul Elia, before stepping into a producer role through post-production.

He is currently developing a feature screenplay based on a real Los Angeles trial in which a convicted felon represented himself in court and won, a story as cinematic as anything Hollywood has invented.

A Maine native who has called Los Angeles home since 1996, Alex brings both an outsider's perspective and an industry insider's depth to everything he does at Ferrari Talent. Outside the office, he is kept grounded by his friendships and his three dogs, Riley, Jackson, and Charlie.

Matthew Hartley

JUNIOR AGENT

Matthew Hartley joined Ferrari Talent in March 2022 and quickly became a Junior Agent under Rick's mentorship. With a passion for discovering and developing talent, Matthew works closely with the Ferrari Talent team to connect clients with opportunities across commercial and entertainment markets.

He is more comfortable behind the scenes than in front of a lens; he firmly believes the camera adds 10 pounds of awkwardness, so good luck getting a real photo out of him.

Our talent has appeared in national campaigns for some of the world's most recognized brands.
